Recenter your mind and fine-tune your ear with a live music meditation in nature. The shimmering beauty of Teatown Lake forms the backdrop for this special outdoor event combining guided meditation and a live performance by Grammy-nominated flutist Brandon Patrick George, “a knockout musician with a gorgeous sound.” (Philadelphia Inquirer) The program features music from the 18th century and recent compositions that draw on the flute’s full expressive range and its uncanny ability to transform the human breath into beauty.

The meditation is led by Beginner’s Ear founder Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim. A short Q&A on mindfulness, breath and music concludes the event.
