Dan Tepfer Online

Rebalance mind and spirit with guided meditation and live music that lets you experience the genius of Bach as if from inside the creative process. Dan Tepfer is one of the leading jazz pianists of our time, acclaimed also for his innovative engagement with baroque music.

Bach's keyboard Inventions are works of filigree delicacy and cosmic sweep. This online program begins with a 15-minute guided meditation. Out of the resulting deep stillness the music of Bach emerges and enters a conversation across centuries with Tepfer's own improvisations.

A short reflection, in conversation with Dan and online participants, explores the intersection of mindfulness, listening, and creativity.

The meditation is led by Thomas Droge, founder of the Pathfinder Institute. The event is curated and moderated by Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim. Proceeds go to the Brooklyn Community Bail Fund to support their initiatives in the fight against racial injustice.
